Expression of Interest for Rock Bands

Pjazza Teatru Rjal’s first foray in the genre of rock music dates back to 2015 with the launch of the PJAZZA ROCK concept as part of the theatre’s Pjazza fi Pjazza outreach series. Since then, Pjazza Teatru Rjal has organised numerous rock events, both in the theatre as well as in other venues around Malta, with the most recent addition being the inclusion of Beatfest as part of the Iljieli fit-Teatru series.

In line with its vision to make culture as accessible as possible, Pjazza Teatru Rjal is calling up-and-coming rock bands to send in their proposals for possible participation in one of PTR’s events during 2025. Interested bands are required to express their interest here by not later than 30th November 2024. Each application needs to contain links to sample videos uploaded on online video platforms. Short-listed bands may be asked to audition. Selected bands will be asked to present a 45 minute set and offered a token fee of €400.
